Had a gas pump not stop yesterday and probably overflowed a quart of gas out the filler neck.

Any chance of damage to the charcoal canister? No CEL, but I’d be pretty annoyed if I have to pay $1000 down the line for a faulty gas pump.

Most fuel system gas tanks are designed with an air pocket to prevent that. Manufacturers think safety first !

Unlikely. Anyone I've ever known who's had a flooded cannister has had it as a result of years of trying to 'cram' every drop fuel they can into the tank.

this^^^…. I bought a GMC Sierra brand new in 07 and it was literally years and years of constantly trying to round it up to the next dollar amount before actually seeing the negative effects from it.

Hate doing that when filling my DL1000, causes it to not start due to too rich, and if I can start it, it runs rough for about 25 miles or so. Ugh, you're lucky it didn't affect your truck that way.
