I just installed the Morimoto XB Gen 2 into my 2021 TRD Sport. Everything works well except the high beam.
The high beam does not turn on when I push the light switch forward. However, they do turn on when I pull the light switch back (then obviously turns off when I let go)

any solution to this problem? I would like to be able to keep the high beam on without having to hold on to the light switch when necessary.

you mean the auto headlight on?

I did at first but then i kept playing with the headlight handle and still wont stay on high beam after pushing it forward. I was doing this inside my garage with lights on. Then when I took it out in the dark streets to test drive it, it worked!!! Both in the “auto” headlights on, and “manual” headlights on. Kinda weird how it did this tho. Didn’t wanna work at first inside my garage. I understand that being in the “auto” the high beam won’t turn on under bright lights. But when it was not in the auto mode, it did not stay in the high beam as well.

I had this same issue with OEM headlights with 100 miles on my Tacoma. It was my first time driving it at night and I couldn’t get the hi beams to pop on pushing the stick forward, only when holding it back (while driving). I have no idea why it works normally now but it does.

There's a separate button to turn off the auto high beams. It's on the left hand side by the switch for the AC plug in the bed and cargo lamp button.
