    It’s summer in Texas….but the wife and I are fighting off some crud or other so some Ckn Tortilla soup sounded tasty. Threw a couple few jalapeños in there for some extra heat.

    ...^^^... Wife made this spicy salmon dish .... it was not too photogenic and appealing to the eye ... HOWEVER ... it was one her her best tasting meals ever. :hungry: It was spicy and sweet and semi-tarte at the same time. She mashes/grinds her own chilies and other spices and does everything by taste. I asked her for the receipe, but she never measures and does everything by smell and taste.

    .... My Dessert Below (eaten later) ....

    ...^^^.. Granola cereal, Breyers chocolate truffle ice cream (BOGO @ Publix), sliced almonds, oat milk and light whipped cream. :drool:

    I rationalize buying sweets, especially ice cream, when 1/2 price aka BOGO at Publix ... :D
