I currently am still running the TRD pro fox shocks (had no idea they were supposed to be serviced). My current leaf springs are more rainbow shaped than U shaped and need attention ASAP. They have been this way since the time I bought the truck. Not a defect, my truck doubles as a work truck and I am confident I carry at the minimum of 700lbs in the bed at all times and the truck went from dealership to loaded down in less than a week. I plan on upgrading the suspension all the way around soon. Can I get some recs on which rear shocks to pair with the Deaver stage 3 leafs that will be coming in this week? Can I run my current suspension until I can acquire new shocks? If not, what cheap rear shocks can I buy as a bandaid until I get then in? My truck is rode hard and put up wet. Its not a show queen, it is my source of income and was only bought for the offroad capabilities since 90% of my work involves miles of dirt roads and tight situations. Sorry if I sound ignorant, but this is my first taco and mostly stock hasnt failed me and caused me to look for solutions(I have searched and read pages of info here). Currently it has whatever spacers and blocks that the dealership installed for me, sold as I think a 2” leveling kit. Blocks will be trashed during spring install, and adding timbren bump stops. Spacers will go away after new front suspension. Running 285 75 R16 if that makes any difference. Any help would be appreciated.
