Welp...Here we go!

So, here we go. Just ordered a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Obviously, I can Google and read, but here are a few things that I am looking for, and some specific items. Looking for any feedback from you all, suggestions on additional options, or better products. This truck will be getting about 20K miles a year, with roughly 75% being interstate miles. Not necessarily a daily driver (I work construction, so my commute is currently 650 one way to home, to see the wife and kids), but will see some daily driving, but again, mostly interstate. Items I am looking at right from the start are a tonneau cover (Tyger), bed mat (OEM/Toyota), bed molle kit (CaliRaised), seat covers (Covercraft/Carhartt), wheel spacers (Spidertrax), and seat back organizers (too many to choose). I want to knock these out, and then looking to possibly lift the truck a bit. From there, who knows? Anyway, I hope y'all can point me in the right direction. Appreciate the feedback.

I too thought it was only possible to order 22s now.

 

Sorry, I probably should have worded that better. I put a down payment on a 2021 that was on order from the dealership, and is set to be delivered 9/17. My apologies.

Welcome to Tw! Good to hear you were able to put a down payment. We tried to shop for a RAV4 for my mom today and 2 local-ish dealers stopped taking orders due to manufacturing shortcomings. First time I walk away from a dealer not wanting to make sale.

Did you get a sales contract and spec sheet or money down and tentative delivery date only

 

Yes, I have a contract and spec sheet, with vehicle Model and VIN numbers. Financing is not "locked in", as rates change until I sign.

Thank you! I am excited. This will be passed down to my son in four years, so it's kind of cool that it will be both of ours, first truck. Been an SUV driver/4 banger driver for years due to needing room for kids, the nature of my work is traveling pretty far distances, and of course all the important stuff, like building a house, getting our retirements in good shape to where we don't have to worry. So now I get my toy. Pretty damn excited.
