I recently put on the Archive garage “traveler add a leaf” on my 2017. Previous lift was a generic single add a leaf. It seemed no matter how much weight in the back, couldn’t get the rear below 23.5 hub to fender, with 3 degree angle shim. It seemed like my rear would lift, instead of compressing over bumps.

Here is a pic of the leaf installed with 2 degree shim, it’s more of an overload style. I’m not a suspension engineer... but if you look in the product it’s a flat leaf

    It’s above the factory overload

here is the driver rear view close up. This is with the tire off and suspension compressed a bit from bottle jack under axle...

My lift in the front is pretty mild...
about 21.75” hub to fender. Stock for me was 20.5”

This is recently with 300-400lbs in the bed and a full tank of gas.

With the Archive traveler leaf the rear sits at about 22.5-22.75” with 200 -250lbs in the bed and full size spare. I have progressively added up to 450lbs and the rear doesn’t go below 22” hub to fender. That being said... the wheeler bump stop mount is really high and now I want to get the U-bolt flip kit.

I wish I found this when I was looking for a stock solution to rear sag with RTT and camping gear, etc...

So if you have a little lift in front like me, or even stock with lots of gear this might be a great option. Rides very smooth, even with the super bumps being pretty close to the frame. Huge improvement over the single add a leaf but I guess anything is.

Thanks for the review, I've been looking at these as well. Could you tell me how much lift you have in the front and what size tires you are running?

    Truck looks great.

Thanks! Got the tall and skinny falkens, 255/80/17. The front is at 21.75ish both sides... I have the stage 1 ADS with 650 coils no resi... so a very very mild lift in the front.

I just bought this item for the exact reason of eliminating sag from the weight of my RTT. Do you by chance have an install video or instructions for this. Most shops ive called say they won't touch the truck because i didnt buy the item through them, so fuck it im doing it solo. Thank you very much.

I would reach out to archive. But if you look up single add a leaf install on here or other areas you will get lots of good info. You can absolutely perform this yourself in your driveway with simple tools. It’s actually easier than an add a leaf bc there is no inherent spring to this item. It’s more like adding an overload leaf. Sorry I don’t have more info. But some digging and you will do well promise.
