Is there a way for me to turn my existing rims and flares black? Like spray paint?

Check out the Plasti Dip Mega Thread. My plasti dipped rims have held up for nearly 10 years, can't complain about that for $7/can at 1 can per wheel. Good luck!

Should have bought the off-road! Kidding.

You get what you pay for with paint. It's 90% prep and 10% paint. Don't rattle can anything on a new vehicle, that's insane. If you're comfortable doing the prep work, you could sand and paint or scuff and bedline them yourself. I wouldn't suggest it though based on the spray paint words.

A vinyl wrap is a good cheap solution for you. Much easier to do yourself and doesn't wreck your paint if you buy good vinyl.

    Also Plasti. ^

For wheels you can get the vinyl decals off Etsy and they look decent on my OR. I'd probably plastidip the flares.

liner paint and black chip guard also works well, but take them off and take your time..

Your taco looks great. Try vinyl on the wheels first then aggressive all terrains and you’re set. You may even decide you may not even have to do the flares.

I’m a big fan of blue. Had to settle for gray. Mine is also a sport. Lots of the same color going on there. I wouldn’t paint those flares. List them for trade for a black pair or save up to replace them. Then sale these.

Plasti dip for wheels. As long as you clean them properly it sticks really well. You can also touch it up if need be and they have about every color you would ever want. I personally think your flares in blue look good.

Spend the 3k on TRD 4Runner matte black wheels BFG K02s, and the OR flares.

I used Herculiner spray for my wheels. Great so far!
