Transmission issues

Truck had some issues starting again today and then shut off while driving and displayed this error. Anyone seen this before?

 

If my (shity) memory serves me correctly, on the early 3rd gens, this was associated with a bad CPK or crankshaft position sensor.

Is yours a 16-17?

 

I have never seen this messageb before. Its says south Florida, is it hot there and are you towing with it?

 

Not towing. It is a 2019. Dealership doesn’t want to touch it since the check engine light is gone now.

 

There should be some codes stored in the system. Go talk to the service manager and tell them it's a safety issue and if they don't diagnose this truck properly you'll hold them responsible if anything happens to you.

 

I’ve brought it in a few times over the past couples month for issues similar to this (not accelerating/struggling to start/low pressure P0087 code) but for some reason the truck is clearing the codes and they can’t pull them! Luckily I did take videos and pictures this time.

 

Did you have your HPFP recalled yet?

 

Fuel pump? yes I had that done earlier this year

 

There is a thread here about the throttle body needing to be replaced. He had a I believe a 2016, but maybe there is something to it.

 

Check the fluids ? …any modifications …weird that it would not store a error .
