For those with After market UCA's (Camburg, TC, All Pro)

I have Camburg UCA's and I use Lucas Red n Tacky grease for the poly urethane bushings. And for the uni ball I use this stuff.

 

interesting, i have the all-pro uca's. been using synthetic gear oil (either Valvoline synthetic blend or Mobil-1 synthetic) for past ~9yrs and have not seen any issues, and the uca's have taken a beating over the years. 42k miles on them, mostly in dry dusty hot environment.

and btw, the AP uca's, are gusseted, but gusseted incorrectly, yep, i said it, done wrong. strength from the gusset comes when it is welded to the side of the tube, not the "knifing" way. AP should put two gussets per mount with each welded to the side of the tube and not on top. but anyways...... oil away, or lube away, whatever.

I still have my Camburg UCA’s and use the Lucas Red n Tacky for the bushings. The Tri-flow for the Uniballs! Just like the post above shows.
