The saga of my truck continues. A couple of months back I had my timing cover leak repaired by the dealership. overall it felt good the first few thousand miles but lately have been starting to feel lots of vibrations (engine related) in the steering/etc., so I started to hunt for anything loose in the engine bay.

Found this plate (attached in the zip) loose and it looks like there is a hole through which a bolt or screw should go. Anyone know what size I need to get this secured? Sloppy work, clearly...

I have combed through the service manual and I'm clearly just missing it, but this appears to be part of the engine wiring harness assembly but I don't see anything that shows what secures it to the engine manifold area...

If you have a good diagram that would help, I'd be very thankful!

If there is not a threaded boss behind that hole then there is some other method of attachment.

However, you said you were feeling vibration, this small bracket would not be the cause of the vibration, not even close.

Perhaps not the vibration but it is rattling under the hood, annoying when at idle

there is a bolt hole below it so it is intended to be secured by something
