Got it installed & works great. Super easy install with my MESO stage 1 OG v1 from the very 1st drop I was lucky to get. Can't wait till dark to see how much better reverse cam will look!!!

While I was down there I found out that the end of the large factory harness for all the smaller harnesses was collecting water from the gap near the bottom of the tailgate. I opened it up to drain all that water out & it was an alarming amount for a wiring harness. I was soaked!!! Just another Toyota design flaw but hey that's why we have TW & all these goodies to fix them! Anyways worth checking out while your down there

So I have had my kit for a couple of week and this weekend I decided that was going to install it. I took the two 10mm bolts out, but I'm not able to pull the tail light assembly out. I have ready about how to and watch a couple videos. I can wiggle the assembly, but pulling about as hard as I can, I can't get it to pop loose. I know I'm getting older, but I should be able to do this. Is there some kind of secret on how to do it? Bottom first, top first, both at the same time?

I kit looks very well done. I think it was worth the money if I can get it installed :) .

I am hopefully fairly close to having an installation video for you. If you prefer to play it safe you can wait for that to drop.

How I do it is with my chest pressed against the lens of the taillight, grip left and right sides (edges) with my fingertips (like rock climbing where you have just barely enough purchase for a grip) and pull against the pressure of my chest. I wear a cotton t shirt (no zipper or buttons on the front) to ensure no scratches or chafing. It takes a solid pop to release the two pop pins the first time.

Also you can likely refer to MESO's total tail installation video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1e5iTmd5S0

And if that's not enough fun for you, here is one from @ClassyTacos
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOYh-bVOX1A

Admittedly these don't go into detail on the technique involved but you can see the two metal pins which go into plastic noodles to secure the taillight in rough position.

Every time I see AG I stop and stare. Every single time. It’s so ridiculous.

I am a pretty conservative car color guy but I had to get it. It took since early March, but she’s finally at the house. The first mod is of your doing!

Welcome to the party. I should have just sent you one long ago on credit. It went out a few minutes ago but who knows what that means, USPS is USPS, they still are holding onto the title I sent to Sacramento for the Tundra to finalize the transfer, grrrr.

Man did they pop and let go when I pull hard enough to break them loose.

The install went without any other problems. Will let you know how well it works for me next time I backup in the dark.

Got the harness today, well packaged and great quality. The weather is shitty out so I can't install it yet. My only question is what is FBC? haha
