0D94060B-2425-43BC-8280-0073E40B5B75.jpg We quiet today :-/ must be working hard or just stressed from working period… I get like that. Sometimes I wonder why such a beautiful life we have and we gotta work most of it away… anyway took half day today to mow some school yard that brother joes normally does… he’s on vacation until Saturday sometime. Yup Christian and I got some mowing to do! The picture above is just the inside of the soccer/track/football area…. Then the outer area gets mowed a different length… as he’s doing that, I’m mowing the front school yard which is 3 acres or so….

I had half of it done by the time Christian finished up so he helped me finish the rest… I mowed 3 hours, he mowed 4! He likes mowing with the zeroturn better for some reason than the diesels… gimmie the diesel any day of the week! They both mow about the same speed expect the diesel’s are 60” decks and the ZT is a 52”…. Anyway, you boys enjoy your evening… soon off to a jeep club event with the wifey…. Yes I have to make time for her as well!! And no I do t have time for a full time job, especially with me trying to teach Christian small engine repairs on the side… lawn mower service as been really keeping us busy after work hours…. I do what I can when I can and try to get my beer time in as well… the good lord tells me to keep going so… I keep going! :thumbsup:E7563F10-E65A-40CC-B252-17026E9D1063.jpg

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! We had light misty rain for most of the morning yesterday so no outside work for me. We spent time clearing out the stable - my father-in-law accumulated so much crap it is just amazing. We cleared out one stall totally - including7 sets of plywood shelves he hung on the 3 wooden walls - and most of another. We have a dumpster for the repair work debris so we'll fill the rest of it with crap from the stable. Back at it this morning.

    Be safe out there!

Happy Friday everybody! Another rainy morning here in my area, light rain but should clear up later today. Hope everyone is done or soon done clearing up any damage from earlier this week. Spoke to a friend in York area last night and he ended up with almost 4 feet of water in his basement. He's got it pretty much cleaned up but it looks like I'll be going over there sometime over the weekend and helping haul some stuff to the dump for him.

I've only been in his basement once in the past. If I recall the basement isn't really very tall and there is a sort of platform/wall built along one wall and all of the stuff like the furnace, hot water heater, and electric panels are installed on that so if basement does flood, which obviously must have happened in the past, those things should be high enough to save them from irreparable harm. He did mention a fairly new washer and dryer and having bought the platform bases for them. He's hoping those are okay but hadn't gotten to really check them yet. His g/f had started her Christmas shopping and apparently had some items for her 2 sons stored down there and they are ruined as they were sitting on the floor.

What drive me nuts is having a scheduled pick up and not being ready for your scheduled pick up which makes me late for my next scheduled pick up. Yup driving cabs is great.

We had 4' in our basement a couple months after we moved in. Everything was downstairs in boxes. All my books and old car mags were lost. The furnace (new) had to have the pump pulled and dried out but it is still working to this day, 25(ish) years later. No water tank as we have a boiler. Dehumidifier did not fare well though! Ha!

Almost tried to mow after work but saw the sky was dark. Took the dog for a loop around the block and started raining. Then it had light rain again a couple more times. It's pretty wet still this morning, so I'm hoping to get my yard and my grandma's done tomorrow. This weather is a trip.

Although I must say, I enjoy a basement for the utilities and storage. It sure frees up a good deal of living space.

Guess I'll rotate the tires and see if I can't find the annoying squeak I have in the front end.

Gonna roll the dice and put off mowing till tomorrow as everything's still super wet. My luck we'll get a downpour this evening.

Morning everyone. Used some leave yesterday to work on a garage I'm wiring for a friend. Little sore today, ladders are not your friend, that's for sure! Ready for 14:30, and I'm out for the weekend! Headed to the cabin tomorrow morning, the mowing of the fields continues. Sunday will be my relax time with Amanda. I keep telling myself, twenty nine months....

Adam, did you check your front body mount directly below the radiator? Known problem in Tacoma's.

Honestly like most of my problems I've been ignoring it hoping it will go away.
