Looking to add an LED tail light bar under the tailgate with combined running/stop/turn signals.

I know the hole to lower the spare interferes with a continuous bar. Trying to find a pair of bars roughly 12-20" long that will fit the vertical height under the tailgate and above the stock bumper.

I've searched several sites. Many close but none that clearly work.

Anyone added something like this? What was your source? Results?

I was going to put one on hinges and use magnets to keep it down... But sub'd for how you make it work.

    I added a 60" to my '04 GMC Seirra 2500HD after I had been rear-ended.......$10,000 damage.

It gave me a bit of comfort knowing I had as much warning as possible for the cell phoners behind me.

This is what I have on my 2012. http://plasmaglow.com/trailer-fire-ice-led-bar/
The magnets are very strong, and you still have access to the spare hole. There is a resistor pack that goes in between the plug and 4 way plug that burnt out and Plasma Glo sent me a couple for free. I actually got it cheaper on another parts site, I think it was Autoanything.com. I have had these for several years now and no other problems. I did put extra silicon on the light bar ends and put the wires in flexiloom.
