Several years ago, I was in a terrible financial crisis, and ended up selling many of my guns. Some of which I had inherited form my dad when he passed away a few years prior. Of the guns I sold, the ones I regret most we mine and my dad's M1 Garands, which we both purchased through the DCM program (at different times). However, each of those were by far the most valuable guns I sold, and each one brought me almost as much as all the other guns combined.

On a positive note, I was able to keep the two guns of my dads that have the highest sentimental value for me - his Sako .338 Wim Mag (his favorite big game hunting rifle) and a Winchester 1897 12 gauge.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
Bought and sold plenty over the years. Pretty happy with what's currently in the safe. No regrets at selling anything.

Battlefield pickup K-98 with crisp Waffenamts - not a wehraboo but I appreciate the historical significance. Apparently I didn't appreciate enough, as I sold when I was in a tight spot.

When I was getting engaged I sold off a 1939 Winchester 1897 Riot gun, a S&W 646, and a S&W 681 to buy a ring and well... she's gone and I threw the ring away.

I have a sporterized war trophy 1944 98k for the same reason. Vile ideology, but a remnant of history. That and my '51 Win 1894 are the last two I'd ever part with due to the history/family heirloom value.

Also 198gr softpoint 8mm knocks VA whitetails down like a sledge hammer.

Only gun I've ever sold was an Intratec Tec-9. It was a total piece of garbage, and I made decent money on it.

They are still garbage, but worth exponentially more money now. For whatever reason.

I haven't parted with anything I regret getting rid of, but I can definitely think of a few PPTs I wish I'd jumped on when I had the chance.

I still regret not buying a Sig 552 from a guy a few years back. Also regret not buying a Wilson-ized Beretta 92G.

Sold to fund text books for college...... :annoyed: College disseminated many possessions. Car, motorcycle, furniture, rifle, then the student loans......OMG.
