    New member of the Army Green Tacoma owners! My wife picked it up for me while I was away at airborne school. It’s a 2021 double cab long bed Off-road with a 3” Ironman 4x4 lift. I’ve wanted a truck for awhile now and this truck is perfect!
    Looking to put some bigger tires on it and probably a leer shell or something similar to start.

    Just picked up my Army green trd sport long bed on Saturday. Love it so far.
    Tires were rubbing so I had to heat up the flaps. Lots of good info on here. Next up is my truxedo tonneau x15 and Redarc trailer brake controller installs. Also just completed Meso customs interior or chrome delete.

    sure. I have it in my garage waiting to be out on. I had one on my F150 for three years and loved it. So I decided to go with one on the Tacoma. I ended up buying used as I couldn’t find one anywhere. It was missing all the seals. So as soon as they come in from truxedo I will put it on and post some pics and a review.

    I installed the X15 today. Just like my F150 it’s tight and looks to seal very well. Here’s a pic. Cheers. it installs into the bed rails. Bed cleats don’t have as much of an option to move around but that’s a sacrifice I guess.

    Has anyone ever changed their tailgate letter inserts out? Gonna change mine to a darker shade of silver and going with tufskinz this time around. I’m wondering what I’m gonna run into getting the old glue off and what to use if this becomes a problem?

    Assuming it's normal 3M style double stick tape,heat will probably help get the letters off. You might need a spudger or a panel tool to pop the letters off.
    Look into a wonder wheel for removing left over adhesive.
