Corrosion for my 2016 Tacoma

Does anyone have any info on the corrosion recall on the 2016 Tacomas

My 2016 went in on the recall. I was excited it qualified, then I got the details… only from firewall (frame) was done. I had planned on undercoating with crc anyways. So I cleaned and painted any rust on the frame I could find. I’ll spray with undercoating this fall along with my wife’s new crv. My 2003 got a new frame but apparently not this time.

 

Getting the treatment done qualifies you for getting a new frame in the future if need be. That's the only real reason to have it done.
