Some trucks are prewired for various options and others are not, you would probably have to look and see if the wiring is there. If it's just a base model and not an SR5 or higher odds are that it's not.

I only attempted to look up that strange spelling to figure out what you were talking about and what a coutramont was.

Maybe as a suggestion don't use words you can't spell. It is confusing.

Sorry if you are / were offended.

Browse through crutchfield. You’ll find plenty of options for aftermarket head units and backup cameras.

Steering wheel controls aren’t as great as I expected. I paid the extra for the interface parts to make them work. I find it easier to use the touchscreen. I do accidentally hit a button on the steering wheel and mess things up occasionally. I think it’s just that the buttons aren’t laid out good.

In my case, I have an installer I’ve known over 30 years. Simple as I want this, you need that, order it, install it. It works flawlessly, I don’t back into the wall anymore. Sounds amazingly good. Sirrus and Pandora through the phone. Hands free text and calling. Backup camera replaces the license plate frame.

Short stubby fat fingers here too. Backspace, correct, repeat.
