    I've got an 09 2nd gen with the 13" 650lb icon 2.5 inch coil overs.

    I've added an allpro front bumper, with winch and various other items.

    I have the preload ring cranked down a lot to maintain my lift.
    Probably 2-3"s

    Will switching to 14" 700lb springs help, without having a super harsh ride.

    Has anyone done this swap that has any insight?

    Yes you’ll be fine with the 700# springs. The 650# aren’t really meant for all that weight
