I believe the JD +4 kit paired with their 934’s and the LCA tab kit is going to yield the most clean travel vs $ while providing lock to lock clearance at the fire wall

Yeah, you have a lot of research to do and either going to need a large budget or a reality talk about what you’re trying to achieve.

I think the question is why are you trying to use an air shock on an LT setup?

You don’t need 18” of front travel for 13-14” of rear travel

OK, Im looking to achieve a very capable general off roader not prerunner style. Id like to cut out the fenders and not run glass. Id like my tires to stick outside of the fenders a little rather than tuck in the fenders.
Also get as much ground clearance as possible with 12 inch minimum downtravel

Air shocks are useless for anything but a trailered rig for crawling. they heat up really bad and get stiff and in turn lift the truck as the air heard up even just daily driving

Oh i didnt know that, they are tempting as they take the role of coilover, bumps stop, limiting strap and sway bar

If you’re going to build a prerunner then yeah 18” will benefit you if you link it but you’ll really need to do major modifications. Removing the coil bucket, building a shock mount, most likely a cross brace, relocating the battery, fuse panel, and intake plus fire wall tubbing are necessary.

if you want the kind of truck that rockslayer builds you shouldn’t even be thinking about any IFS front kits you should be 3 linking the front with a solid axle swap

Yeah you won’t get performance for what you’re putting in. Just go bolt on 2 kit or sas. SOA guys like the idea of wide and more travel however their rear is going to limit them rather than their front.

It’s probably lower than most. Might be at 2” of lift, might not be. CV boots are happy and I’m not dragging the skids too much aired down or riding the bumps.

That seems to be the ongoing theme here with this particular truck.
