I have a 2019 Tacoma and I always experience this leak issue and it is bugging the heck out of me. I searched the web and it seems like the majority of Tacoma owners have the same issue. I already tried to adjust the AC from full recirculate to fresh air and adjust the temperature to mid-hot and cold. All with the same results. I drove cross country and I always get this leak. It is frustrating.

I highly recommend that all of us Tacoma owners that have this issue contact Toyota, so that Toyota can investigate this AC condensation leak. If we have a lot of Tacoma owners submit a recall/limited service campaign. Toyota may do something about this leak. Please submit a recall/service campaign to https://www.toyota.com/owners.

It would benefit us if Toyota issues a LIMITED SERVICE CAMPAIGN for AC leaks at passenger footwell.

    Thank you all.

My brand new 2021 does this. I made my local dealer aware with 200 on the odometer.

Hi, did the dealer do anything to fix it? I did the same thing and mentioned the issue to my dealership and I was told to adjust the settings. The dealership did not rectify the issue. I highly recommend that we contact Toyota directly. Thanks,

I was not able to recreate the issue at the dealership. It has only happened on a long trip. The dealer and I talked about letting it idle in the lot to see if that would do it, but decided against this as I'm still in the break-in period.

EDIT: "Long trip" was 72 miles with AC on full

Have you checked your condensate drain line connections and or the tube itself for blockages?

This seems like a likely cause, compressed air can carefully be used at low pressure to blew it out.

I cannot speak for the op but I have checked my drain line and it is clean. The condensation is coming from above this area and dripping down.

Just another note. I had read that the ac drain line is too short and drips on the frame. I looked and extended it using a piece of hose clamp and zip ties. Now it hangs an inch below the frame.
