Ballpark estimate for fixing sheet metal bent drivers door

Ballpark estimate for fixing sheet metal bent drivers door? I backed into a garage parking lot pole. Medium sized dent drivers side door. Very obvious, but no problems with opening or closing, and window works fine. Thinking about living with it after I got $3k estimate at a local Toyota Dealership. But he very candidly said it was simple repair and could be done a lot cheaper than he was able to quote. Silver paint. Thanks for any advice.

 

Dealerships “seldom “ does this. They usually contract some body shop to do this / or they replace the sheet metal skin of the door vs tapping and bondo hence the price .

 

Would cost as much as your deductible

 

Or you could reach out to say LKQ and see if they have a silver colored drivers door, much cheaper than $3,000

And you or a shop could complete the door swap in less than a day compared to 7-10 days a body shop would probably have your truck.

 

Have you tried putting a toilet bowl plunger on it and pulling it out ?? Worked for me once.
