I started using a crossbow 2 years ago due to arthritis in my hands and shoulders, I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t bow hunt. I’ve been bow hunting for 47 years now and I take almost all of my vacation during deer season.

    Alright elk hunters, quick question.

I scouted three areas in Colorado a couple months ago. One was in an active fire and the other two are less than 10 miles from another fire. How much do y’all think this impacts the herd? Am I ignorant to hunt an area that close to a fire?

also, shot the bow for the first time this season and was pleasantly surprised I hadn’t lost the touch over the off season
