Last two tanks ive had to just put the tip in to fill it in a time efficient manner. The pump stops itself every 1/4-1/2 gallon if I put it all the way in

Gonna start w checking the burp hose between the tank and filler neck, supposedly its semi accessable without dropping the tank. Also gonna get my CEL read sooner than later to get a better diagnosis.

Anyone with the 2.7 have any pro tips for fuel filter replacement? Have a decent quality new one but have been putting it off. Under the intake mani seems a convoluted spot. Anyone ever done a relocation?

I think that one is the same thing as the "ADD" branded one.
I got the ADD when it was over $100 retail, found it for half that as a miss print. I would bet a box of doughnuts ADD had some exclusivity deal that may have lapsed and now the flood gates are open.

Install and some testing along with a better 0-ring for the cup seal. The original would not reliably seal.

Mine was the charcoal canister. Replaced it with one from a junkyard and it's been fine.

Mine has no codes at all. Runs fine just won't fill up any more the gasses aren't venting correctly.

I did that for a while. Could manipulate the angle and depth every now and then. Now that doesn't work.

I don't think so. Never seen a kinked hose anyways.

Brett was telling me you'd had issues. Damn. That doesn't sound fun.

    Charcoal cannister 100%

The media in the canister is clogged so there is no pressure being released, causing your fillups to stop prematurely. This also causes the gas smell, especially on hot days, as the excess gasses aren't being properly filtered and the pressure build up from the heat will escape at the point of least resistance on the gas tank... gas cap, old rubber seals on the fuel sender and roll over check valve, etc...

I have that same one off of Amazon on my 3rz. Not boosted, but helps to keep oil mist and whatnot out of the intake runners. I would think that it would help with carbon buildup as well.

I made a custom bracket to mount mine on the firewall since my engine bay is also pretty packed.

Thanks. I like your mounting bracket. I have extra wiring running along that seam as well.

I know. Or 97 and such. My other two are like that. However, not having it there allows for nice wiring..

    Pros and cons..

Fuel tank on the DC is in a shit location. You can’t even really get to the pump with removing the bed. You have to drop it and it sucks. Ive been there 4times now.

    2 shitty walbros
    1 shitty deatchwerks
And then back to Denso with the shitty parts store markup.

It was probably unrelated, but just check your tension on the PS belt.

Meh dropping the tank is pretty easy considering all the other shit you've dealt with. Just awkward. Last time I dropped mine it was made easier with a dirt bike floor jack.
