Ok so for starters I have tried to read about this before coming here, but I seem to be finding a lot of conlicting information. I have a 2021 TRD Sport, and I am looking to change the wheels.
I planned on getting Motegi MR149 17x8.5 with a 0mm offset. So from initial reading I was under the impression that 265/70/17 was the tire size I could fit without need to cut or mod the truck on stock suspension. But on some threads I am seeing people say these will not fit. Is that due to the offset or is that tire just to big to fit? Motegi also makes this rim with a 18mm offset. Would this be a better option?

Should only rub mud flaps or front dam if anything. 17x8 or 17x8.5 with same offset

Looks like OP posted in Oct to confirm this. Only had to do some minor plastic trimming in the mudflap area to eliminate rubbing.

Is that the 0 offset or the +18 offset for the 17's?
