Kinda slow in here today. That said, hope you all have a good week! My work "week" starts Wednesday so I got a couple more days of my "weekend"

 

Yep, going back to work tomorrow after my 2 weeks of "paternity leave". I wish it was more common, it's been the best and most time I've been able to spend with my older daughter since she was born. Back to the grindstone now though.

 

Yeah, I've had all week off plus tomorrow then back to the 4-10's schedule.
Time flies.

 

I never seem to get much done but the days disappear with amazing speed.

 

Guess who’s having deer meat for lunch Monday and Tuesday? That should make the week start better!

Good Monday morning friends! Went to the lake late Saturday and caught a couple night fish, the moon was about as bright as the sun. Yesterday we were up early and catching more fish.

buddy left a pole hanging over the edge of his boat overnight, and came back in the morning to find a dead bass hanging off the hook. He tossed it into the river, and managed to get this shot right after. Pretty cool!

 

Cole lost the pin out of the clevis on his mower. He ask if I could make him one.

Got some U clips and installed the drivers side storage compartment from the junk yard.

 

I took everything out of the wifes storage compartment and haven't put it back in there yet. Shall I inventory? What I remember (because a lot is in sealed bags); tree limb saw(because I forgot the one I use whilst gutting a deer), trash bags (for dirt bags that don't pick up after themselves, camp/fish spots), diagonall cutters, got to look at rest of stuff, that's all I recall. Ok, Klein style pliers (both rusty a bit even in bag but not seized up), about 20' 1/4" rope, utility knife, and 10' tape measure.

 

You found a Tacoma with parts on it at the junkyard?

I’ve only ever found one, once. Just the frame and cab left. Literally nothing left, no doors, no wiring harness, no dash. Nada.
