Looks awesome! I'm starting to mod out my tacoma. Other than the looks, is there a benefit to the amber? I'm just wondering why people do amber because I have no clue. Does it have a switch that changes it back to white as well? I'd like to do this set up

I would call it perfectly bright. I wouldn't call it blinding to look at but I'm pretty used to the Baja lights. I have some of the same lights on my roof rack that I use to light up the camping spot. They are bright and they are badass!

LAPD is running a Catalytic Converter Theft Task Force out of several of the Divisions.

Running without a cat converter won't hurt the engine, but will increase air (and noise) pollution.

I'm a little behind, but I had the Dobinsons suspension installed along with the SOS Slimline bumper. Very happy everything so far. We'll see how it goes on the dunes this weekend.

Nice covers! Question, where did you get the color matched door panels?

Originally I wanted those leather covered when the seats were done. $700 for the 4 doors since those are a pain to get apart. I used products by SEM to paint the vinyl. Had ordered leather swatches from Katzkin to decide what color leather I wanted. When the Cardinal was chosen I had a dealer in SEM custom mix and put in aerosol cans for the job. Masked every door off and painted. I did this from the swatch ahead of having seats installed. The custom paint perfectly matches the color of the Cardinal swatch but, is a bit darker than the seats. I’m bummed about that part of the project.

Yes. I never knew that could be done until I started search for alternative to spending $700. SEM Color Coat is what I used because they have a system at dealers to custom match and put in aerosol cans. Other coatings companies make similar paints for vinyl but, the customization led me to SEM. Spent total of $130 for supplies to do the door panels. $35/can for 2 cans of paint, $20 for a product you apply ahead of painting that chemically softens the vinyl and $25 for a roll of automotive masking tape that had a flexible but hard plastic edge that can be pushed under the part you want painted vs that which you don’t. Ends up the same pliable vinyl…but a different color

That's pretty cool, you will have to let us know how it holds up over time. I would be curious to know the longevity of it considering that is a high impact area for elbows and hands.

Indeed, gets a lot of touches. I read another TW poster stating that his experience was they showed no deterioration after some months of usage. From just the look and feel it doesn’t appear nor feel any different than what it was from factory. I have cleaned mine with ArmorAll cleaning wipe just to see if any signs of bleeding color onto the white wipe. Zero.

SEM (and others) make a second pre-paint surface treatment for plastics. So, you can use that on dash panels, center console panels, etc. Then, you paint with same paint.

Currently, it powers my roof rack lights (which I leave on for hours at camp once it gets dark), air compressor, USB, interior topper lights (but am moving to RTT setup, so will power bed lights). No fridge currently, but this panel could easily power that too if I wanted.

With the help of my son, we did the CMC on our 2021 Army Green Off Road so we can fit 285/70R17 M/Ts on without a lift (b/c the front components are on back-order).
2,400 miles on the truck and already cutting pieces off.

Yeah I don’t know about that, I just know my woofer goes behind the drivers side passenger seat.
