Hi guys, I was thinking of getting the F5 stealth custom wheels(16x8 +0mm 6x139.7) but not sure what tires to get. Which tires and brand do you guys recommend? I currently have a stock 2019 Tacoma TRD off road so I can't go too big on the tires.

Welcome! Plenty of opinions about tires around here. How you plan to use your truck, and what weather conditions

Its my daily driver and I live near Chicago, so there's a lot of snow and wet roads.

    It's a secret
If I were you, I would be weary of anonymous "recommendations" online from forums because of an off-chance you might get a troll-suggestion for a poorly reviewed tire UNTIL you first do some of your own research on some tires...just a heads-up for you because this tire recommendation subject is so over used by people who don't do their research before asking online...

Nice. Only about 100 options, and people will tell you each one is great, and people will tell you each one sucks. Head to one of the Midwest sections and ask the guys there what they’ve had luck with.

I live in the MidWest in central Iowa. Very familiar with the weather swings......dry, wet, snow, snow pack, ice, black ice, sleet, slush.......

The best tires I've had were Michelins. Most of my family's driving is on hard surface roads occasional gravel.

My daughter's and wife's car have Michelin Defenders, my motorcycle is on a set of Michelin Commander IIs. My truck will get a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S or the AT/2 when the GY Wranglers wear out.

Do your research, look at and compare the UTOG ratings, price vs warranty.

There are more good than bad choices. As an all around tire good on the road and still decent off road I'm really impressed with these Toyo's

If you hang around truck forums much Falken Wildpeaks will always get rave reviews. I've never had a set, but read too many good things about them to not at least consider them.

If mostly street driving Michelin Defenders are a great choice. Most consider them the best riding and longest lasting tire. While expensive they do last longer. They are not noted as a great snow tire nor are they highly thought of off road.

265/70/16 is a decent size to work with and is optional as a factory size. 265/75/16 is about as big as you can go with no modifications. About 1" taller than stock and the same width. Interestingly 265/75/16 are usually less expensive than the smaller 265/70/16's. That is the size I prefer.
