High pitch whistling noise

    It is a known “issue”. My 2017 did this and there was a tsb for it that swapped out leaf springs and added some sound proofing to the cab. The tsb made it better but didn’t resolve it. My 2021 does it a little but not as much as my 2017. Both trucks off road models if that makes a difference

    My 2020 OR does the same thing. Howling/whistling noise around 48-55mph. I can also feather the throttle and hear it. I have not had it checked out but I assume it's the rear diff noise that has been around since 2016. It is my understanding that it is really just an annoyance and not really a mechanical failure of any type. I also have the LCA whistle but that happens at lower speeds (25-35 mph).

    I can say that my 2017 that I turned in had 65k (identified the noise early) and the noise never led to an issue. When I hear it now I’m not concerned, just a odd thing

    Mine does this too, but it sounds to me like its coming from passenger front? Like the airbox.
