Go to https://parts.toyota.com/, enter the zip code 23294, select McGeorge as your dealer. At checkout, enter "FREESHIP" discount code.

If you go directly to McGeorge's parts website it won't let you do it. You have to choose them as your dealer through Toyota's parts website.

If you are on McGeorge's online parts website (they have two) and enter "FREESHIP" in the code box you should get free shipping for any purchase over $75 and up to $200 shipping value.

It sure looks like you can save quite a bit of money if you order the 04005-03235 LBJ recall kit which is basically a bundle of both the 43340-39585 & 43330-39815 LBJs but without any LBJ bolts. Since the LBJ recall kit does not come with any bolts, you must order the correct bolts for your application separately. With free shipping, total would be $198.71 for the LBJ recall kit and the (8) 90080-10066 flanged bolts for my '97 TACO w/o the LBJ Protectors. If you have the LBJ Protectors, you need to order the longer 90119-10933 bolts. There was a very useful write up on the LBJ kit: Killer deal on Toyota Lower ball joint recall kits... | Tacoma World. McGeorge is currently offering 10% off shipping ("TAKE10") until 9/20. Should be enough for about one lotto ticket o_O

UPDATE: I tried to use the code and it was rejected. McG customer service says it's not an authorized code.

I ordered my LBJs from them last week and the FREESHIP code worked for me.

It usually pays to look for the best deal you can find on parts considering shipping cost and availability. Every website I checked has the LBJ recall kit plus the (8) required bolts priced well below the individual LBJs that contain the flanged bolts. McGeorge has these LBJ recall kits priced very attractively even without the free shipping. I just replaced both LBJs on my '97 TACO 4x4 in August. If I would have known about this LBJ recall kit then, I would have saved $38.67 over buying the (2) separate LBJs that contain the bolts on the same parts website (toyotapartsdeal.com). And the $38.67 savings takes into consideration the extra cost of the (8) flanged bolts when ordered separately. Hopefully some who read this thread will be able to take advantage of the lower overall parts cost on these LBJ recall kits. Several of us, including myself, already missed out on this opportunity because until recently I/we did not even realize these LBJ recall "Bundle" kits were available. .02

I am one of probably only a small group of people here who has worn out both a set of OEM Toyota non-greaseable LBJs and a set of greaseable 555 LBJs on their 1st Gen Taco 4x4. The original OEM LBJs lasted thru 16 years of abuse in the deep mud/high water here in MS and the greaseable 555 LBJs lasted thru 8 years of the same caliber of abuse. At what I deemed the end of life for the original factory set of LBJs, both still passed the rotational torque spec, still rotated smoothly, and the boots were still in serviceable condition with no pin holes. The original OEM LBJs were replaced with the greaseable 555 LBJs as part of normal preventative MTX. At what I deemed the end of life for the greaseable 555 LBJs, they still passed the rotational torque spec. But neither rotated smoothly, the boots were deeply cracked from weathering, and each boot had a small pin hole in it which I had patched with Permatex Ultra Black. After having used both types of LBJs, I have drawn a couple conclusions. The boots on the OEM LBJs are far superior to the boots on the 555s. And the OEM LBJs operate smoothly for a much longer period of time than the 555s. I have seen pics of the machine work on the inner workings of both types of LBJs. The polished machine work on the OEMs is far superior in smoothness as compared to the 555s. Don't get the impression that I think the 555 is a low quality LBJ. It is not. The OEM LBJ simply offers you more quality, more strength, and more durability. But as one might expect, all this "more" comes at a higher cost. Since retirement 3 years back, I probably off road for 22 days a month for 8 months out of the year. With the known limitations/weaknesses on the 1st Gen TACO LBJs, I am confident I made the correct choice going back with OEM LBJs. The deep mud/high water here in MS is super hard on the steering system parts as well as all the running gear. And breaking a LBJ (or UBJ for that matter) a couple miles down a muddy trail with deep mud/high water up to the rocker panels is something I would very much like to avoid if at all possible. It did cost me a bit more money to buy OEM BJs for my '97 TACO 4x4 hunting truck. But I can live with that, no sweat.

I painted/sealed these greaseable 555 LBJs then put them on my '97 Taco in 2013. These "Made in Japan" marked greaseable 555 LBJs lasted 8 years then were changed out for another set of non-greaseable OEM Toyota LBJs just a month ago in August 2021. Having used both types over many years of severe off road use, I feel the OEM LBJs are superior to the 555 LBJs. But I trusted my life & limbs to the 555 LBJs for 8 years, no regrets. Now I will again trust my life & limbs to the OEM LBJs until they show any signs of problems during my inspections. I am 68 years old. So unless I tear a boot, this set of OEM LBJs may well be the last I put on this Taco. Bottom line: No matter whether I use OEM Toyota LBJs or greaseable 555 LBJs on my '97 Taco, I only trust them with my life & limbs until my next inspection. FWIW
