There is a TSB for the CREAKING NOISE. Just had mine fixed last week under warranty. Very hard job the tech said. Replaces the master cylinder, hose, bushing, fluid and entire clutch pedal.

    TSB 0112-19

I rotated the rod CCW enough to firm it up a bit. Don’t want to make it too firm and cause damage. It still clicks at the top of the pedal push. The rod linkage with the back of the pedal seems to be misaligned enough to cause a click most pushes.

Anyone who has fixed the clicking, how many exposed threads do you have on your push rod? Weird question but mine won’t stop clicking. I used new grease and adjusted it higher and lower... still a click at the top of the pedal push.

The Tsb 0112-19 got rid of the creaking and groaning hard pedal .
The gears engage much closer to the release of the pedal ( nearer to the floor )
As opposed to the very top . But I now have a single hard click right after the free play . Very hard to see under there .

I had the TSB done. It got rid of the creaking but not the click. I’ve adjusted every which way and it’s still there. It’s where the pedal meets the push rod. Mine look misaligned as my rod pushes in at an angle sort of.

I found what the problem was. Today leaving the store, a nut and washer fall to the floor from the clutch pedal area as I'm shifting. Come to find, when the dealer put on my new clutch pedal in under the TSB last month, they barely tightened the nut/washer that goes on the bolt holding the clutch pedal sub-assembly to the clutch pedal support. Its on page 1885 of the manual at the top. My pedal had tons of play side to side that I thought was normal and was aiding in the click and noises. Hopefully good as new now!

Sorry! If it hadn't been for a lot of good clutch install reports recently, I would have suggested that. That issue was noted by folks who got the old TSB done.

So hate to bring up dead threads, but this is new to me. 2019 6MT and just recently noticed the clicking popping when the clutch pedal is almost all the way released, the very end of the travel. You definitely feel the pedal popping. If I release the clutch faster I don’t notice it. Usually when I’m towing. Did the TSB resolve this, or it that more related to a squeaking? Need to get my fuel pump recall done, so maybe I can have them do both. Thanks.

It might be easiest to check the limit switch at the end of the travel before wasting time at the dealer. See the adjustment info from the service manual posted earlier.

It could also be the return spring or gap to the master push rod. The push rod gap typically makes noise when starting to disengage the clutch though.

Edit: Sorry! They were not fully posted in this thread. Service Manual (140mb):

The push rod is fully engaged in the very first part of the stroke. A click at the floor is more likely to be the lower limit switch or a pivot that needs to be greased. The stupid, non-linear clock spring goes over center and could be the source of the noise. Either the perches or the coil are touching.

Yeah. Adjusting the push rod or the limit switch will not help with that.

The best method that folks have found is to get disk brake grease, because it will not separate or drip when hot, and apply it to the spring, perches, and any other moving part of the clutch pedal.

The weird part is that some folks get noise in the heat and other get noises in the cold.
