These plates came with my RCI sliders for my Access Cab/DCSB sliders. What are they? And do they need to be painted and installed?

    Clazzio seat covers,
By the looks of the arrows I'm guessing an alignment/placement gage. Silly question ... what did the instructions say?

When all else fails, then read the instructions.

Looks to be heavy weight metal for a template guide. More likely a spacer with arrows for up and forward. Just a guess, I didn't read the instructions either. LOL.

I was thrilled to see my niece reading instructions the other day when she was trying to assemble a fan that she bought at Costco for her college dorm! Never saw a kid look at instructions before ... EVER!

If they are both the same, I doubt they are templates because you wouldn't need two exactly the same templates, one would suffice. Templates tend to be made as cheaply as possible because they are discarded after use and saving money here and there is how companies pad the bottom line, especially when it makes zero difference in the actual product quality.

I just looked at their instructions and it doesn't mention those. I would give RCI a call.

They kind of look like bracket plates for bolt-on sliders. They'd be on the inside frame rail for extra strength on the other side where the slider bolts to the frame hole. But ya RTFM would be a good idea!

Well I finally got around to getting ahold of RCI. Turns out they’re spacer plates for the oldest 2nd gens. They go near the front wheel well. The more you know!
