Covering up TRD Pro Branding

How do you know? Both were offered on the pro. Making sure OP knows there's a difference in both price and performance between the two.

They are the same headlight in all lighting specs. Just some minor finishing details ~ Chrome / black in different parts

 

I wouldn't worry about it, there are thousands of Tacomas driving around with fake Pro grilles - no one is going to notice your headlight labels.

16-19 are not LED headlights. I was offering my opinion that if they are not the 20+ LED models IMO its not worth the upgrade.

 

Yes, this was exactly what I wanted to make sure you knew. Those are not LED headlights (only daytime running) and are the same as the other TRD models but are blacked out. IMO you'd be better off either getting a set of good (no broken tabs) BHLM lights or if you're spending that much upgrade to the 20+ LED setup.

Cost maybe 30 bucks but a bunch of time. There's someone in the classifieds that does this as well as a service.

 

Okay, yes. However the 17-19' pro headlights do not say TRD or PRO. which is what OP was wanting to cover.

Since they are the 17-19 version. there is nothing to cover up. end thread?
