My 2017 Tacoma has the moonroof. Every-time I use the overhead switch and hold it down to automatically open the moonroof, it seems like it doesn't go all the way back. It only go's back about 3/4 of the way. I have to use the switch to fully open it. Is this normal?

It's normal. Read the manual. The first stopping point is to limit wind noise. Fully back is louder.
