You’ll love em. I put mine through the ringer this past weekend. 10psi through a Boulder field trail. Performance was excellent.

Yepity yep, you sure can. Hammer down the locating tabs on the frame and chop the exhaust after the axle. I have 35x10.5R17 in my stock location now which is basically the same size as that 255.

If I ever decide to move back to 17s after I get over my wheels that are currently incoming, these Mickey's are high up on my "need" list. Cant wait to see pics.

I’m running the same wheels and they are the perfect offset for the skinny 35 setup. I did not have to trim my fenders except near the cab mount but I’ll be trimming them back a few inches at some point as I prepare the truck for eventual 37x12.5R17’s.

From my experience, I recommend you pull the front struts and springs and cycle the suspension at full lock. You’ll need to hammer the pinch welds, firewall and inner fender. You’ll still rub a tiny bit but it’s as good as you’ll get without chopping up the inner fender. This will eventually go away after the tires wear a bit and the inner fender get self clearances my the tires. Adjust LCA all the way forward and make your final adjustments with your JBA UCAs to stay as far off the firewall as you can. Less caster in your UCA is actually better as it will move the wheel forward.

    Happy Hammering!

Thank you sir! I am coming off of 285/75s which I wheeled heavily and flexed alot. I've done a lot of trimming, cutting, and hammering to make those work without rubbing. I shouldn't be that far off with a taller skinny I hope

My bad. I missed that part. You probably won’t need any more then. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you.

I have a very hard time believing this clears the diff 100% of the time.

Some Test Fitting and comparisons- 255/85/17 Baja Boss AT vs 285/75/17 Ridge Grapplers

I cycled the rear up and down with the jack and looks like clearance is no problem, I Have bump stop extensions on there now, and im adding Durobump extended bump stop onto the extensions this weekend so no fenders will be popping off in the rear at least lol.

It rubs a little but it fits and I haven’t had any issues yet.

Go run a good trail that will flex you out all different ways. You'll find where they want clearance.

I’ve run around the state quit a bit and flexed her out. Rear suspension is still stock though with 5160’s so she only flexes so much. The tire fits and isn’t taking up room in my bed so she will stay there until I can get a rear bumper with a tire carrier. When I first ordered the tires and realized I was going to have to make the spare fit, I said my self, “Damnit, what have you done?” Then I saw @Chadr7858 had made it work so I knew it could be done. He has hangers and relocation on the rear so he might be able to give some good info on how well it works under the bed with lots of rear articulation.

The spare rubs the diff. I don't care. Metal beats rubber. I wheel every weekend so it is always rust free. Under the bed isn't the most ideal spot but for me but it's better than a tire carrier on the hard trails and I need my bed space.

Yea, your right. Probably could with cutting them off or lots of hammer.
I had read is post under the wrong context of fitting the 35s on a stock suspension.

I meant more for the fronts. I have my LCA in the usual forward most way and still crunched the fender into the door this past weekend. Was fixed in the driveway.
Will be fixed eliminated once the JD stuff goes in.

So… I took the plunge and went for some skinnies but now that they’re on I’m a bit uncertain. They are a little skinnier than I’d hoped but I think a big part of that is the thickness of the rock ring on my wheels making them look that way.

They are the Yokohama Geolandar G003 LT255/85R16 on the TRD faux beadlocks which are 7.5” wide with an offset of +10. Yokohama says to use a 6.5-8” wheel. The tire shop said they were REALLY hard to get seated which is a little worrisome if I popped a bead out on the trail.

With the width and offset the tires are basically exactly flush with the fender flares.

They aren’t quite as big (dia) as I was expecting - at least they don’t look it. So far there’s a teeny, tiny amount of rubbing on the mud flap on one side. That said, the prior owner had some 33” 285s so the bumper was already trimmed a little (but they still rubbed). I can’t imagine needing a CMC but I’ll need to inspect to see how close the tire is. This has me wondering about those 34-35” options out there

Haven’t had a chance to test them out other than the 2mi drive home from the tire shop. Looking forward to testing them out. Luckily if I don’t like em I don’t have a lot invested and will just sell them to either put my 265/75R16 Wildpeaks back on or look for something different else.
