Cruise control/shifting issues

Interesting, but mine doesn't shift the way he describes. Mine doesn't downshift much and in fact sometimes I have to be somewhat aggressive with the pedal to get it to downshift. I wonder why. I've also never had the issue of the constant shifting on the highway but I also almost never use the cruise control.

What does annoy me is that it won't downshift on hills like he describes. Going up, it just bogs down and loses speed and eventually will downshift or I'll give it enough pedal to make it downshift but then it's accelerating. It won't hold speed on hills. Going downhill it also doesn't downshift to engine brake.

ETA: I have a appt to get KDMax so we'll see if that fixes it.

 

Just like a phone, you have to update it........ what a crock of shit.

 

Mine will engine brake down hills if the cruise is set.

 

When i use the adaptive cruise control it does this too. So what i do is push the button until it turns into standard cruise control and this seems to help.
