Sure, no problem. I'd be curious what they say too. Not sure of the technical reason(s) of why the lower coil end of the spring has to point rearward. Maybe they have a technical answer for that.

I don't think it's a big deal, I've looked at a lot of posts on 4runner tundra etc forums. Didn't see anyone with a problem with any orientation. Will talk to dealership but I doubt they'll have an answer. I don't have high expectations of them tbh especially if they cant even follow a simple SOP. Also the passenger side is wierd, I heard it has to be 180 shifted from driver side.

Also if you look at the bilsteins install instructions (this TRD lift is just a rebranded Bilstein anyways) the grove indent for the bottom spring is perpendicular to the bottom part. This means the spring end would face forward.

I already have the TRD pro grill. Dealer quoted me $1340 installed for shocks, rear block, diff drop kit, alignment and labor.

    Shocks $350
    Rear block kit $200
    Diff drop $80
    Labor $600
    Alignment $110

The only thing here that looks fishy is the $200 for the blocks… that’s literally absurd. This should be like $50-$75 in parts for some blocks even through the dealer. Honestly, the rest looks spot on though!

Sorry if that has been answered in this thread but I am trying to figure out what these are equivalent to..

Did Toyota just take some shocks and color them Red and call it a rebrand or are these more like 5100?

General consensus is that they're rebranded 5100's

I saw that one as well. It's definitely the closest camera I could find that might fit but I gave up and ended up placing my Anytime camera near the TSS like most and then put a plastic cap over the grill camera hole. I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out. If you end up trying that camera let me know how it works...

Thought I would post up here having the TRD shocks installed along with ICON RXT leaf packs without the extra leaf. Finally took it for a test drive in the Snowy Range of Wyoming on some moderate rated trails and I'm liking the ride so far. I might swap in the extra leaf with the RTT and a full load of gear for dispersed camping and see how that handles.

Have you had any rubbing at all with 275/70/17 tires on sema wheels with this lift?

Thanks so much, no I’ve had zero rubbing. I’ve been surprised with the clearance, almost wish I’d went up to a 285. Only downside is a slight power loss and decreased mpg.

I just ordered my 275/70/17 Falken wildpeak a/t3w's to go with my sema rims and trd lift.

I really like how yours turned out and you seem to still have mud flaps on with no issues. Thanks for the boost of confidence in my order!

So I got a quote from a dealership and he said it included 8 hrs labor because something about the milliwave sensor.

Does anyone think 8 hours seems excessive? And what the hell is a milliwave sensor?

I believe that is for the TSS sensors to make sure they are all calibrated and in working order. Retuning these sensors so they are from factory again is supposed to be part of the price.

Mine did take just about 7- 8 hours i believe.
