What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just a suggestion but I would have put a thin rubber strip between the bars and the carrier like a bicycle tube or something similar.

 

Those bars have a rubber coating on them, I'll keep an eye on it and if it starts showing signs of rub through I'll add some rubber strips, thanks

 

What size memory card would you suggest?

 

I thought I would join the bandwagon and play with stickers …. This is also to cover up massive scratches and dents in the rear door from an unruly Boulder that my sliders couldn’t fend off

Quick fist clamps, mounted horizontally beneath my tent (on the bed-rack), so clean for transporting the rods.

Drilled and tapped my shell brackets and made some brackets to mount my fishing rod holders.

58mph whine, took the service mgr for a ride and he agreed, warranty covered a new 3rd member, we'll see haow long this one last.

 

Got my install appointment scheduled for my GFC (October, 16th!!)
Got the CVC Performance tune (shout out to @PNWTacoma for the tune, hit him up if you are in the PNW)
Installed the Pop & Lock auto tailgate lock (as everyone says, stupid that this isn't a stock feature)

And since none of that is picture worthy, I drove the truck to Olympic National Park and hiked the High Divide trail with my son.

I had an '81 long box for driving back and forth to the shop. It was questionably road worthy with 250,000+ klms on it. One day the starter fell out. Replaced the bolts and away it went for another 50,000+ klms. Aside from putting oil in it weekly it just ran and ran.

 

Popped in some Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro SAE yellow fog lights! These things were so easy to install, got here weeks before the stated lead time on their website, and they are bright! I took it out last night and adjusted them bc the way I had them set up out of the gate was blinding people. The beam goes way into the ditch, and the visibility is incredible.
