Version 2 supposedly fixed that issue. I just did this install a few weeks ago and read all 30 some-odd pages in that thread. No issues. Do it! You won't regret it

Man, I just completed my OEM audio system 500 install.
All speakers, woofer, amp.

what a difference, I mean it sounded pretty good with the speaker upgrade but Oh yeah, with the amp and woofer major difference. So happy.

 

just wait until it settles in. two, or three, months from now it will sound even better.

I assume that's an awning on the passenger side? Aren't you concerned with twisting from cab to box?

It’s on the passenger side, not really sure what you are referring to with the twisting

 

The body and the box flex differently. That flex difference will be quite a lot of difference from cab height-to canopy height.

 

I’ve never had a problem, I don’t know never thought about it. My racks are dead even on height and width. I’ve had the awning for a while now and haven’t noticed any twisting or what not

 

Oh, well, I just thought I'd mention it. Keep an eye on it?
