I would to add some rims and tires to my stock 2016 sr5 4DR Tacoma that will not require modifications. I'm also concerned with gas mileage going way down. Anyone advice is appreciated.

If you're concerned about gas mileage stick to 265/75r16. Put those on an 8" wide wheel with 0 offset and you'll be golden. Won't need a lift. If you go up to 285/75/r16 you'll need a lift and will lose roughly 3 mpg.

265/75r16 or 265/70r17 is generally a good bet. Won’t get any rubbing except for maybe the mudflaps (depending on things like offset) and those can be trimmed or replaced. I like the 265/70r17 option because I think there are more 17” wheel choices.

I ran Icon Compressions with Falken Wildpeaks in 265/70r17 for a while, trimmed back mud flaps with a dreamer because they rubbed at about 3/4 turn both directions. I cut the mudflaps in such a way that they flow perfectly with the body of the truck and then smoothed them out with some fine grit sandpaper.

I am currently running the 2018 4Runner TRD PRO wheels with a different set of almost bald Falken Wildpeaks (same size). Traded with my brother’s wheels because I’m getting rid of my truck and I didn’t want the dealer to have the Icon Wheels. Overall I like the TRD wheels better because they seem to balance better. Ended up buying a set of the 2021 4Runner TRD PRO wheels for my soon to arrive 2021 Tacoma. They will be fitted with KO2s.

Never had enough of a hit in gas mileage to notice.

You just want a rim or are you looking at the whole wheel?

This is a rim and tire -
