I rented a Telsa Model 3 last week, and I rented a Rav4 hybrid this week.

I am not sure what the purpose of a Hybrid is. The best MPG I got with the Hybrid was 30 MPG. I don't think that is all that impressive given the complication and cost of the powertrain. Plus, it was slow. The buzzy CVT sounds feminine, and I looked like any other 2017 Rav4, which is not good. Maybe the current gen Rav4 would be a better experience.

The Telsa on the other hand was only $18 to charge at the supercharger station. It was also one of the most fun and fast(fast felling) vehicles I have ever driven. The full-on acceleration is feels 10x faster than it really is because of the instant torque.

It's cheaper when you charge at home too.

Back when my father was a kid, rich people had cars, poor people had horses, that was a hundred years ago. We will all be driving something different someday. The only constant is change.

Some are afraid of change and fight it before they know the facts. Which I understand, they're only human.
