By the way there os some support for 5th gen 4runners. can give you a little more power delivery and smoothing.

Created this account to bring attention to the FACT that this Guy [Stormpeacock] is legit and freakin cool! Dude, I seriously appreciate you taking the time to sideline your travels, pull over, answer all my questions and "adjust" my new money pit! She drives COMPLETELY different now...specifically: eliminating the truck falling on it's face as she tries to get into 6th gear as fast as possible... total godsend! Hi, I want to tune my 21 Trd Pro. I’ve been reading a lot of good things about the KDMax 6.0. Do you do that one?

This is my first Taco and my first time dealing with a tune...so I have no knowledge on the subject.

i dont do the KDmax. I have different tunes. That being said, OVtune should be releasing his ultimate set of tunes (it was supposed to happen yesterday). Thats going to be what youll want to wait and hear about before getting tuned up.

Which tune is better in your opinion the OV or KDM?

 

KDmax.

OVtune is good, smart, clean.
KDmax was built from OV as a base, and has a bunch of changes beyond based on feedback from hundreds or more people over the last year plus.

 

Would you suggest a KDM tune on a brand new truck? I live in Warner Robins and am supposed to get my truck at the end of Feb. I've read a lot on these tunes and would like to have it from the jump.

 

I have done several trucks with less than 1000 miles on them before.
Many people wished they had it done to their truck sooner!
