Lifted alignment question

I’m hearing different things so I’m asking those of you that have done the lift. After installing the lift (in my case 2-3 inch kit), most alignment machines already have the specs built into the programming for the c/c and toe specs. When lifting, do you have to adjust your specs any or do you still line it up based on a stock setting the machine already has programmed in?
