Nyet. Izzy plums are like $50-60 shipped all day. I got stupid lucky that someone wanted them because I was honest where they came from. A lot of guys would rather not gamble and let someone sell the thing they've been eyeing so the risk isn't there.

Again I got stupid lucky. I doubt I'd find Plums like that again and find someone willing to buy me out on them

From how I read it, this is only in effect for 12 months (which, coincidentally gets us to midterms, go figure ). It's just a symbolic thing, at best/worst. LGS had 1000round bricks for $479 Saturday. I got 1000 from SMKW a year ago for $220 shipped. WILD! I'm sitting on enough rounds so I'm okay for a bit.

Should I keep shellacking or call it good? This is 3 coats. I’m thinking of 2 more coats, polishing with 1200 and 2000 grit sandpaper.

Well, hopefully I'll have my Saiga 223 back in a couple weeks, getting the bullet guide installed. Also having a Bulgy kit build AK74 fixed, it has a barrel pin that is too small and it slides out. My local gunsmith is going to replace the pin and headspace it. Dropped both of them off last Friday.

Thinking about having the Bulgy chopped and channeled to an AK105 clone with a SiCo mount and adjustable gas block so I can suppress it.

Not sure what to do about the Saiga 223, probably have it rear converted, but since it has a 20" barrel, I may leave that alone.

I'm doing a 105 clone pistol build. Don't have a Bulgy barrel but have a CL one I'm chopping. Similar to the one I'm selling.

Your Smith should be able to replace the pin with an oversized one no problem. Does your Bulgy kit have the double rivet trunnion?

For the Saiga I'd convert the whole thing and then decide to chop the barrel at another time. Doesn't hurt to put a fsb at the end of a 20" barrel
