Me too, kinda.

I watched the new movies but only after they made it to cable. Tried “lower decks” “discovery” and “Picard” but never really got excited about any of them. I did finish “Picard” but it just didn’t pull me in like the older stuff did.

 

Actually I did watch Picard. It was ok, I seemed to be more nit picky about it. Everything is getting too woke and it's ruining the old vibes I got from the old shows.

 

Could not agree more.

 

So...I watched one of my favorite episodes tonight- "Balance of Terror".

Synopsis: After a raiding foray into Federation Space by the Romulans, the Enterprise responds and Kirk matches wits with the warbird commander along the frontier.

Comments: A good array of tactics displayed from end run and bull rush attacks, to playin' possum, and the old "hide the obsolete nuke amongst the fake debris field" ploy.

Love the Corbomite Maneuver. The first time I saw The Tholian Web, I was so scared you couldn’t have hammered a finishing nail into my ass.

Looks like Section 31 is due out soon. I guess it's based off of Discovery, which I haven't seen yet. I remember some Section 31 bits from DS9. I wish DS9 was given a movie.

 

Forgot about this one…

 

I forgot all about this movie until it came across my YT feed. Seems it might be the worst Star Trek movie, and possibly just one of the worst movies ever.
