2006 DCSB TRD OR (decided to keep) Mods delete if you want

For sale is my 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed TRD Off-Road. I am the second owner of this truck. I purchased it in 2017 from a Honda dealer in MA. This has been my secondary vehicle for the past two years and it just doesn't get driven enough anymore.


This truck is in great mechanical condition. It has low mileage for the year and has had regular maintenance and upkeep. The body does show minor some wear and tear, I would call it normal for its age.

It has a new frame as part of the Toyota frame replacement program in 2014 at 82,312 miles. I purchased the truck at around 110,000 miles and applied Fluid Film to the frame (inside and out) and undercarriage to prevent rust. I went pretty crazy with rust preventative measures when I purchased the truck, it seems to have worked to keep the NY salt at bay.

Maintenance in the last four years:
-Oil changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and Toyota filter every 5000 miles/6 months (whichever came first)
-Differential and transfer case oil changed
-New Denso spark plugs
-Transmission fluid flushed by Maguire Toyota Ithaca NY
-Valve cover gaskets replaced by Lane's Auto Danby NY (had work done preventatively)
-New OEM (3rd gen Tacoma takeoffs) coilovers and rear shocks
-New slotted rotors and pads
-New CVJ axles up front
-New Alternator and serpentine belt
-New OEM (takeoff) muffler and tailpipe (after cat)

I have leaf springs from a 3rd gen to go with it as well as 3rd gen upper control arms. I also have the original wheels, they are just flaking.

The only negatives about this truck are cosmetic: rust on rear bumper, cracking clear coat on tailgate. Also the TPMS light is on since there aren't sensors in the wheels. It's an upstate NY truck, so it's not immaculate with regards to rust, but compared to most of the second gens in the area it is in a lot better shape (minus the two item mentioned above).
