    Hi Bryan,

    Have you tried finding the guide from the compustar website? If you don't have it, you can always call them directly and speak to their support. The reason they might not have downloadable resources for your application is because they try to drive the point home that "you should know what you're doing for MT vehicles" is the answer we've gotten in the past, and that's how we created ours, without factory guidance on how - through our own testing and R&D. I wish I could help, but we don't do manuals past the 3rd gen Tacoma so we'd have to research it as much as you would...but yes, it's going to be the same concept.

    i will try calling them as well, but this is a 3rd gen tacoma so it should be the same relay wiring as the one you already provide, if thats something youd be willing to share with me?

    - Vehicle has to be compatible if you're selling the remote starter.

    Hi everyone,

    I tried to install my new n2 hkey auto with smart module and stupidly cut the tpms wire flush with the pigtail connector after misinterpreting the install video leaving nothing to plug into the device…and the kicker is I tried for hours and could not get the device working. Had to close up shop to get ready for work in the morning.

    4 questions:
    1) is this unsafe to drive with the wire just sitting in the pin bank (I have the other end stripped and placed in one of the tpms bypass ends for the device)? Am I at risk of shorting that connector/circuit?
    2) what size is the wire and would it be possible/advisable to just replace that wire in the pigtail connector? I have limited electronics expertise…how hard is this and what equipment would I need? I’ve tried googling to no avail.
    3) can the dealer fix this without costing a ton of money…I’d like the tpms to work again as well.
    4) will I be hassled about warranty issues?

    thanks in advanced for any help. Mainly don’t want to ruin my truck I’ve had for 2 months and want to get the remote start going before it’s freezes here in New England

    Anybody else's temperature showing 32degF or 0degC? I swear it worked yesterday. My location is correct and commands are working. I've had this installed for a year now.

    Anyone have issues with their headlights not automatically turn off after the truck is locked? Yes, I've checked the settings and it is set to 30 seconds like it always has. Double click fob lock button does not shut them off now. Only thing I have changed was installing the remote starter. During install, I had a bad module so they are sending me a new one. Hopefully thats the remedy!

    Anyone have issues with tpms warning after installing? Sometimes when I turn my truck on it says tpms malfunction but it only has done it a few times.
