    Nice, good luck! I'm envious - I wanted to learn years ago but I have Tachycardia (occasional rapid heat beat) & can't pass the FAA medical exam.

    cool. I wish I had the funds, and the time. I grew up on a farm and my dad had an old 1948 Aeronca champ that I rode in many many times with him. Miss those days of flying.

    If you REALLY want to fly, check out a soaring (glider) operation near you. You won't need a FAA medical exam .... just sign something that states you have no serious medical condition that would render you useless in flight. Good luck!
