I'm with you on the summers; I've grown to despise summertime, specifically July and August...but we're headed towards the good weather soon!

 

A fire

Keep in mind we're in fire restrictions most of our summer so despite the freezing overnight temps, a fire is a no can do.

Coffee and warm clothing. My slipper boots stay in the truck as camping gear

 

But Metro Detroit certainly wouldn't be boring! I had a couple friends in AZ who moved from there, some of the stories they had....underground weird...things you might see in a movie but wouldn't imagine really existed.
I worked in Michigan at a power plant (Palisades) it was a beautiful area but then they get a fair amount of snow too.

Two foreign immigrants have just arrived in the United States by boat and one says to the other, "I hear that the people of this country actually eat dogs."

"Odd," her companion replies, "but if we shall live in America, we might as well do as the Americans do."


Nodding emphatically, one of the immigrants points to a hot dog vendor and they both walk toward the cart. "Two dogs, please," she says. The vendor is only too pleased to oblige, wraps both hot dogs in foil and hands them over the counter.

Excited, the companions hurry to a bench and begin to unwrap their "dogs." One of them opens the foil and begins to blush.

Staring at it for a moment, she turns to her friend and whispers cautiously, "What part did you get?"

So this little old lady wanted to join a biker gang. She went to one of the big burly leaders and said she wanted in the gang. The burly biker dude ask, well have you got a bike? She said yeah that's my HD right over there. He ask well do you smoke? She says yeah, 4 packs a day and a couple of cigars whilst shooting pool. Quite amused the biker then asks, well have you ever been picked up by the fuzz? She thought for a second and answers, no, but I've been swung around by the tits a time or two.

So, a New Yorker decides to move out west and gets a job on a ranch. A few weeks go by and he gets more and more aware that there are no women around. He asks one of the other hands…

“Say, what do you guys do for female companionship around here?”

“Aw, we just use that ol’ mare in the corral there.”

“Really? Well, okay.”

So he rushes over, pulls down his pants and starts getting it on.

“Say Yank. We use the ol’ mare to ride to the whorehouse in town.”
