Apple Carplay Issue

I've been encountering the following scenario lately: Listening to SiriusXM (or any other AM or FM station) and a phone call comes in through Apple Carplay. After I'm done with the call, instead of the play resuming on SiriusXM (or resuming the AM or FM broadcast) I have to push the audio button and then select the source to get back to the SiriusXM. It didn't use to do this so not sure if there is something going on with my iPhone settings or something with the truck settings. Any help resolving this is appreciated. Thanks!

 

Same with mine. I believe it was some update on the iphone side.
Upsetting when it’s some spam call coming in and I am listening to like mean o’ tune from Led Zeppelin on SXM.

 

I'm having similar issues. Some recent update has messed things up. There is so much clunkiness between Carplay and Entunes.

 

Same here ! About 75% of the time. Never know when it going to happen.

 

Happens to me too

 

I've seen it as well. It seems to happen to me only on the first Carplay audio after I start up the truck. It does seem to matter if it is a call, text that CP reads or a map direction.

 

That must be a toyota OEM problem. With my aftermarket pioneer that doesnt happen it goes back to whatever was playing

Yeah the Pioneer Carplay works flawlessly.
