Hi to all. New to forum.
I got my key fob wet on a paddleboard outing and it hasn't worked since. Tried replacing battery, taking apart and spraying with electrical cleaner. when putting new battery in the light comes on steady for about a minute but doesn't come on when buttons pushed. Probably shorted something out. I bought one from Amazon that is supposed to work on it. Got truck in programming mode but fob doesn't program. Anyone know of a aftermarket fob that will work for my prerunner? All the aftermarket ones I see online are different from the original. Enclosing picture of original and amazon link of one that didn't work? I still have my second working one but want a spare.
    Thanks

That’s a tough one, since it isn’t a factory OEM system
Yes, some dealerships have installed that system. But it’s not the OEM alarm system.

You need to find the “valet switch” or what ever that system calls it.
I’d start under the dash. If you can find something with the model number on it, it would help.
    It’s usual a black box with a blue/gray button.

Here is the best I can do for you.
